No FEAR Act

The Notification and Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002 (No FEAR Act), Pub. L. No. 107-174, increased federal agency accountability for violations of antidiscrimination and whistleblower protection laws.

One of the No FEAR Act’s requirements is that federal agencies must post certain information regarding equal employment opportunity complaints of discrimination. The Department of Treasury is responsible for OFR’s No FEAR Act reporting. Statistics regarding complaints, if any, filed against the OFR are included in Treasury’s Departmental Offices (DO) reporting.
